The flag of Ethiopia consists of a tricolor: green, yellow and red, arranged horizontally. Green symbolizes the fertility of Ethiopia’s land, yellow symbolizes the equality of the nation and red symbolizes the sacrifice and heroism of the people in defending their freedom and independence. In the center of the flag is the coat of arms of Ethiopia – the image of a lion, which holds in its paws a cross, symbolizing Christianity. This selection contains gifs of the Ethiopian flag.
