The flag of Saudi Arabia is a rectangular green-colored cloth, with a white-colored inscription, the shahada (the Muslim symbol of faith): “There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is His prophet”. Below the inscription is an image of a sword also in white. The green color of the flag is the traditional color of Islam and symbolizes hope, growth and prosperity.
